Thursday. Already? Ready for the most vague update ever?
There are a few big things happening on this end. None of which I can really talk about yet, but I am pretty excited at the possibilities. Hammering out one of the last steps for one of those things this weekend. I qualified for the U.S. Mountain Bike Nationals last year. Apparently, each WORS event is a qualifying event and I placed well enough at Treadfest that I would have been able to compete for the 25-29 sport class title. Mike and I would have been able to duke it out before we had even been destined to become team members. I am hoping to qualify again in time to attend this (next) year. I am pretty determined to upgrade my mountain bike license next year. Yes, I am already thinking about it. I need either two top five finishes at a national event, three top three finishes at any AMBL events or four top three finishes at either the WORS or Dino series. I think that is attainable. I have yet to see Ted in person, but I'd like to congratulate him on his move to Flatlandia. There is a ton of team switching and formation going on, I got a call last night and the word on the street is there is a new, official, messenger team, a la xXx, forming. The hotel I have reserved for Jingle Cross has a 100' water slide. Don't blame me if I miss the races, it will be the water slides fault. I have added a goal to my cyclocross season after this past weekend. It is going to stay between my legs and myself, but I will say it has everything to do with Montrose. We got a hitch put on the VW and will soon be towing in style. A huge thank you to Brian for helping out. Killjoy is having a strategy party this Friday where we are preparing how to take the fun out of everything, so beware. I am totally slacking on my Halloween costume for this weekends racing in Milwaukee. The news that I am most anticipating, whether it works out or not, lies somewhere between Chicago and where the race is this weekend. I am keeping my fingers crossed. If you already bought the CX Mag subscription and one of the calanders from CBR, you could buy one of these and give it to me as a "end of October" present. I really think Rapha is out of their minds in terms of pricing, I don't think the stuff they make is twice as good as anything else, so why should it cost so much more. An EWR jersey on the otherhand, since it is getting chilly, is totally worth it in my opinion.

"It is going to stay between my legs and myself"
I will officially restrain myself from commenting on this phrase... but golly, it's hard. ;p
I might have to go to Jingle cross just for the sweet waterslide action.
jeremy, you should see where we're staying for KC nationals...
I just booked our room for jinglecross at the same place. Whoohoo water slide!
How many shady references can you make about events you can't share? Did you discover oil in your backyard? I think I'm glad that you didn't race at nationals, I rather enjoy my medal and jersey, and the fact that you smoked me at Palos may have created an issue in Vermont...may...Im shifty like that.

Ok, so the thing staying between him and his legs is hard? I think I might know what it is then.
